September 2007 is New Zealand Book Month and Rachael is blogging all month at New Zealand Book Month.

The Sound of Butterflies was also named one of 50 great New Zealand books for New Zealand Book Month.

The Sound of Butterflies won the NZSA Hubert Church best First Book of Fiction at the New Zealand Book Awards yesterday.
