Red Rocks awarded New Zealand’s longest-running literary award.

Red Rocks has been awarded the LIANZA 2013 Esther Glen Medal, which was established in 1945, and is “offered annually to the author of the book which is considered to be the most distinguished contribution to literature for children aged 0-15, by an author who is a citizen or resident of New Zealand.”

Red Rocks by Rachael King has been shortlisted for the NZ Post Children’s Book Awards! The winners will be annonced on  June 24, 2013.
